Off-duty officer's gun stolen outside North St. Louis County Club

(KMOV)—Police in the St. Louis area are on the lookout for an officer’s gun after it was stolen during a fight at a North St. Louis County club.

Police tell News 4 that the gun fell out of the off-duty Moline Acres officer’s pants as he was breaking up an argument. By the time he realized it was not in his pants, it was already gone.

The argument took place outside The Ambassador Club where a teen party was going on at the time.

Even though the officer was off-duty and the missing gun is the officer’s personal gun, police are still focused on getting it back and off the streets.

The officer will not face discipline action for this incident.
