Police dispatch tactical team after shots fired into North County home

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- A St. Louis County Police tactical team was dispatched to an unincorporated area of north St. Louis County on Wednesday after multiple shots were reportedly fired into a home.
 
According to police, they got a call about the shooting around 1:45 a.m.
 
Officers responded to the scene, but could not locate a suspect.  It is not known if anyone in the home was injured. Police have not released the exact location of the home.
 
A tactical team was dispatched to help search for the suspect or suspects.  A police helicopter was also called in to help.
 
Police officials said they were focusing their search in the areas of Meridian Avenue, Wheaton Avenue, Old Hanley Road, North Hanley Road and St. Charles Rock Road. 
 
Police suspended their search round 6 a.m.. According to reports, they do not have anyone in custody.
