ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that former Riverview Gardens superintendent Henry Williams died April 23 in a suburban St. Louis emergency room. He was 70 and had a variety of health problems, including coronary artery disease, hypertension and diabetes.
Williams pleaded no contest in 2009 to stealing from the Riverview Gardens School District. He served 30 days in jail, was placed on probation and was ordered to pay more than $100,000 in restitution.
Before arriving at Riverview Gardens, Williams was a superintendent in Syracuse, N.Y., Little Rock, Ark., and Kansas City, Mo.
