BRIDGETON, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police in Bridgeton are asking for the public's help in locating an endangered 2-year-old girl who was abducted from motel Sunday morning.
 
According to police reports, the girl was last seen at the America's Best motel in the 3600 block of Pennridge around 8 a.m. on May 11th.
 
Police said the young girl was taken from the motel by Albert Corey Hunter, 43.    Brooklyn's mother told police she left her and Albert alone in the motel room.  When she returned, they were both gone.  It is not known how Hunter left the motel, but police report he refuses to return the girl.
 
Brooklyn was last seen wearing a white tank top with pink dots and denim shorts.  She is approximatly 30" tall, weighs 35-40 lbs. and has curly, blonde hair.  Albert Hunter is described as a black male, approximately 6'06" tall and weighs 215 lbs.  He has brown eyes, black hair and a tattoo on the right side of his face.
 
The relationship between the young girl and the alleged abductor is not known, but the mother told police he is not the girl's father.
 
Authorities said the mother has been in contact with Albert Hunter throughout the week, but he refuses to talk to police or answer any questions.
