(KMOV.com) -- An SUV ended up on top of a concrete barrier after a multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 270 Friday morning.
The accident happened around 5:45 a.m. between Washington Street and New Florissant Road.
According to reports, the driver of the SUV lost control and veered into the concrete barrier that separates the westbound and eastbound lanes. The force of the impact caused the vehicle to come to rest on top of the barrier. The impact also caused chunks of concrete to break off and land in the eastbound lanes. Two other eastbound vehicles struck the chunks of concrete.
No injuries were reported. All lanes, both westbound and eastbound have since reopened.
