ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Police are on the look out for two carjacking suspects who stole a person's car in south St. Louis, crashed it and ran away early Friday morning.
Police said the victim was sitting in a car in the 3900 block of South Grand Boulevard around 12:45 a.m. when a man and a woman approached. The woman pulled out a handgun and forced the victim out of the car. The suspects got in the car and took off.
The suspects drove away from the scene and headed north on Grand Boulevard. They approached Interstate 44 and hit a minivan, authorities said. The suspects then got out of the vehicle and ran away.
The victim was not injured.
Police said both suspects were black and in their 20s. The female was about 5-feet-3-inches tall and had light complexion and short hair. The male was short in height and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt at the time of the incident, according to police.
