ST. CHARLES, Missouri (KMOV) – A north St. Louis County man is in custody after he allegedly sexually assaulted a child under 12-years-old.
Richard Allen Williams, 61, was charged Wednesday with two counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, first degree child molestation, sexual misconduct and first-degree child endangerment.
Police said the charges stem from incidents that took place St. Charles in October, 2011.
According to the police report, Williams is acquainted with the victim’s family and had custody of the child when the incidents occurred.
Williams is currently in custody and being held on a $100,000 bond.
Police said additional charged in the case could be filed.
