Suspect makes off with cash in Richmond Heights Burger King robbery

(KMOV.com) -- Police are looking for a masked man who they say robbed a Burger King fast food restaurant in Richmond Heights Monday morning.
 
According to officials, the robbery happened around 6 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Brentwood Boulevard.  
 
It was there, police said, a man wearing a mask stormed into the restaurant and demanded money. Captain Mueller with the Richmond Heights Police Department said the suspect got away with at least $200 in cash.  It is not know if the suspect had a weapon.
 
The suspect was described to police as a black male wearing a green ski mask, a blue and white long sleeve shirt, brown gloves and blue jeans.
 
Mueller said the suspect does not fit a description for any similar crimes in the area.  
 
Police plan to review surveillance footage from the restaurant's security system in an effort to identify the suspect.
 
Nobody inside the restaurant was injured.
 
Anyone with further information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to call Richmond Heights police.
