EUREKA, Mo. (KMOV) -- Changes may be coming to a dangerous stretch of highway that has been blamed for several deaths in the last few years.
Shawn Archambault founded the group One Curve at a Time after his daughter, Kaela, died in a crash on Highway FF in 2010.
He said his goal is to change the highway "so that other families will not have to endure the pain we have gone through in the past year." His group says adding shoulders to curvy, two-lane roads like Highway FF would help save lives.
MODOT officials said they have plans to rework three of the road's dangerous curves. In July, legislators will decide whether to approve funding for changes to the highway.
