(KMOV.com) -- Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, Illinois was evacuated and classes canceled after reports of a bomb threat.
College representative Mike Fleming said a call was placed to 911 Friday morning about a bomb on campus. Dispatchers quickly notified campus authorities about the call. Campus police were given the order to evacuate students from the campus around 8:30 a.m.
Officials report about 200 students were on campus at the time.
St. Clair County Police and campus police investigated to determine where the call came from.
The campus was given the all clear by 2 p.m. Classes are expected to resume on Saturday.
