O'FALLON, Mo. (KMOV) – The Wentzville School District plans to move ahead with building a new high school without the permission from the city of O’Fallon.
The city has already rejected the plan to build the school and new road, but zoning and planning regulations typically do not apply to school districts.
Homeowners in the area said they are worried a new road running through their neighborhood and the additional high school will make their homes lose value.
Wentzville plans to have the new school built to hold a full freshman class of 2013.
