Police Sergeant and brother plead not guilty to selling drugs

(KMOV)- St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department Sergeant Larry Davis and his brother Linus, pleaded not guilty in Federal Court on January 23rd, after being indicted on drug charges.

The two were indicted last week on two felony drug counts and are accused of intercepting packages with marijuana at shipping company outlets in order to re-sell the drugs on the street for personal gain.

Instead of taking seized packages to the police department, unbeknownst to the package handling companies, investigators allege Davis took the packages to his personal residence on Eichelberger in St. Louis City.

The brothers were each indicted on January 18th, by a federal grand jury on one felony count of Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute marijuana and one count of Intent to Distribute marijuana.

No trial date has been set in the case.
