(KMOV.com) -- Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a fire at a vacant building in north St. Louis City Monday morning.
Authorities said fire crews were called to a vacant building fire at the intersection of North Jefferson Avenue and Montgomery Street just after 7 a.m. When firefighters arrived on the scene, flames could be see shooting from the windows.
Captain Sutter with the St. Louis Fire Department said the building was under demolition when the fire started.
Investigators have not determined what caused the fire and are not saying if it is suspicious.
No injuries were reported.
