(FootballStL) – One question no one seemed anxious to tackle at the news conference introducing Jeff Fisher as the new coach of the Rams, was the future of the team in St. Louis.

Jeff Fisher and owner Stan Kroenke both danced around questions. It was widely reported that the issue was a concern of Fisher's when deciding between Miami and St. Louis.

"We talked about a lot of different things, I have an understanding of the future of this franchise, and right now it’s in St. Louis," said Fisher.

"The chronology of what occurs with the lease is public knowledge, I don't think for me to comment on that process is timely. I think the city has within its power, to present a proposal to us by February 1. There’s a team in place to deal with that. We’ll see how it sorts itself out," said Kroenke.
