(KMOV.com) -- A home that suffered extensive damage in a Monday morning fire was unoccupied, officials said.
According to authorities, the fire started in a home in the 4900 block of Liliburn around 3:15 a.m. in north St. Louis. Captain Sutter with the St. Louis Fire Department said the fire started on the second floor of the home. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but Captain Sutter said, at this time, it appears to be accidental.
No injuries were reported. Investigators are still looking into the cause.
