Majority of Missouri red light runners found in St. Louis

(KMOV) – Red light camera statistics found that 7 out of 10 red light runners in the state of Missouri were found in the St. Louis area, with the most dangerous intersection located at Skinker and Forsyth, on the campus of Washington University.

Officials say more than 190 drivers were caught running red lights on a single day at the intersection of Skinker and Forsyth.

Joggers say the intersection remains very unsafe for crossing, with the constant threat of red light runners.

Officials say the majority of red light runners occurs between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. around the rush hour.
