ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A fight between two employees at a Nike manufacturing plant in St. Charles ended with a stabbing and an arrest, according to police.
The fight started at the Nike IHM building, located at 8 Research Park Drive, around 5:15 p.m. Friday.
Police say the scuffle began as a fist fight, but escalated when one of the men stabbed the other in the abdomen with a pair of scissors.
Authorities say the stabbing suspect then waited in the manager's office until police arrived. He was reportedly taken into custody without incident.
The stabbing victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition. His wounds are not expected to be life-threatening.
