ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – Police are looking for the gunman who shot a man to death in south St. Louis neighborhood early Wednesday morning.
Police say Prince Patton, 25, was shot several times just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of Bates and Louisiana avenues.
Neighbors told officers they noticed a man talking to Patton just before the shooting. The suspect then got out a gun and fired several shots. No other description was given.
Patton was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the suspect drove away from the scene in a white SUV with tinted windows and illuminated running boards
The suspect was described as a black male, 18 to 30 years of age with a thin build. During the shooting he was dressed in all black.
