Rams, 49ers to take care of unfinished business this Sunday

ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- It has been only three weeks since the Rams and 49ers played to the first tie in the NFL since 2008.  It’s fresh in the minds of the players and coaches who still feel like there is a lot of unfinished business to take care of.

“I talked a little bit about it today with Coach (Jeff Fisher),” Sam Bradford said.  “It’s kind of just starting the sixth quarter here.  Obviously, we’re looking to finish this game with a win, not a tie.  But, I think there’s definitely a sense of some unfinished business going into this game.”

The Rams and 49ers were unable to escape the 24-24 tie on November 11.

“We just took a couple of weeks off and we’re going,” Fisher said.  “There’s two weeks in between and here we go again.”

Fisher jokingly stated that the team will petition to the league to make it count as two wins if the Rams beat the 49ers this Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome.

As for 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, Sunday will present a new challenge for both teams.

“I think it’s just new business.  That game is finished business and this game coming up is new business,” Harbaugh said.  “We must prepare well this week.  We must travel well.  We must be ready to come in and play our best because we have great respect for what the Rams are capable of doing.”

The Rams will play the 49ers at noon this Sunday.
