(KMOV) Police have released more information on the identities of the victims involved in the fatal I-64 crash over the Holiday weekend.
The one-vehicle accident happened around 1:14 a.m. Saturday morning just east of Kingshighway.
Authorities report the vehicle was traveling eastbound on I-64 at a high rate of speed when it started to lose control and swerved to cross all lanes of traffic.
The vehicle collided with the median wall and overturned several times before coming to a rest.
Upon impact, four out of the five occupants were ejected from the vehicle.
The driver, Lydell Templeton, 43, and 20-year-old Michael J. Helm were pronounced dead at the scene.
40-year-old Tyrone Cain II was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
19-year-old and 31-year-old black females were transported to a hospital and are listed in critical/stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
