(KMOV.com) -- Monday night, News 4 learned exclusive details of a burglary ring broken up in north St. Louis County.
Two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old were arrested after reportedly breaking into three homes in the Spanish Lake area Monday morning. Police say it wasn’t their first time committing burglary.
Authorities report they caught the alleged burglars in the 1700 block of Vista Ridge. One of the victims of Monday’s crimes said a neighbor called police after seeing one of the teens throw a log through a back window of their home.
Police arrived and saw two suspects running from the house and another was driving a stolen car.
All three juveniles were arrested and officials are working to find out just how many homes they’ve broken into before.
“We just know at least several in the area,” said Sergeant Jason Long with the St. Louis County Police Department. “Our detectives are with them and their investigation will determine how many they’re linked to.”
