(KMOV.com) -- Investigators are trying to find the person who left an alligator at Chicago’s O’Hare airport.
The scaly creature was discovered wondering around a terminal.
The Department of Aviation workers caught the gator using a broom and a dustpan.
Officials said it’s possible his owner brought him by train.
Pictures of an alligator were tweeted from the commuter train the same day.
The alligator will be treated for about six months because authorities said it appears the owner didn’t feed it properly and stunted its growth.
After that, it will likely be given to a reptile park.
