(BaseballStL) -- Spending six hours on a broken plane at an airport has never gotten so much attention. Yet that's exactly what happened to the Cardinals when they attempted to get into Boston yesterday.

This afternoon, prior to Game 6 of the World Series, the attention now shifts to how much that may effect the team's play. The Cardinals insist it's a non issue and they're fully ready for tonight.

The Red Sox see it the same way.

"We don't factor that in. We've had issues with travel before," manager John Farrell said. "That doesn't change the fact we're going against a very good team tonight."

The Cardinals were supposed to have yesterday off anyway and not take batting practice or work out. So they did not lose any extra repetitions that they were supposed to have.
