(BaseballStL) -- Shane Robinson will get his first World Series start Wednesday. The Cardinals face lefty Jon Lester, meaning left-handed hitting Jon Jay will sit for the second straight game.

Robinson started Game 6 of the NLCS in place of Jay, registering two hits and two RBIs off Clayton Kershaw.

Allen Craig is back in the lineup for the Cardinals for the first time since early September, batting cleanup as the designated hitter. Mike Matheny said Tuesday he doesn't envision using Craig in the field, but he will wait to see how the series progresses.

With a lefty on the bump, Matt Adams has moved down seventh in the lineup, and will continue to man first base.

The Cardinals full lineup is as follows:

M Carpenter 2B
