ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- A gaping hole in the street on Crittendon near Nebraska in south St. Louis has become a nuisance for drivers in the area. Neighbors say it's been there for weeks, but the city says crews were just notified about the gaping hole Tuesday.
"I've seen cars go by and they fall into the hole and pop their tires or sometimes scratch their car up," says local resident Nikki Morris. "Sometimes they have to get a car company to come get their car to tow it out."
The city says collapses are common because of the aging infrastructure. MSD has been asked to repair the hole.
