(KMOV) – Residents of Joplin, Missouri took a moment today to honor the victims who died in the tornado.
The death toll is at least 130. City leaders are not giving an exact number because they are still working to identify all the remains.
One of those victims was a National Guard soldier who was laid to rest on Memorial Day.
Rusty Howard was in the Home Depot with two of his three children when the tornado ripped apart the store.
The three of them were buried together on Monday.
