Off-duty St. Louis firefighter drowns at Lake of the Ozarks

(KMOV) – An off-duty firefighter drowned early Monday morning at the Lake of the Ozarks.
According to the Missouri State Water Patrol, Timothy Miller was heard calling for help just before 1:00 a.m.
Authorities say that by the time neighbors made it down to the lake to try to help Miller, his body had been submerged.
Miller’s body was found around 4:15 a.m. He was a firefighter for the city of St. Louis.
