(KMOV) – A Missouri man has been arrested and charged with child endangerment.

Donald W. Cunningham, 45, is accused of confronting a teenage girl while she was walking in the 1000 block of Kingshighway in Rolla, Missouri. Cunningham was in his vehicle at the time of the alleged confrontation.

The victim’s mother tells police that Cunningham asked the girl to go for a ride with him. He also allegedly offered to pay the girl in exchange for sexual favors.

The girl ran home, told her mother and she called 911.

The victim gave a detailed description of Cunningham’s vehicle and police were able to track him down at a local hotel not far from where the incident reportedly took place.

Cunningham has been charged with first-degree child endangerment.

He is being held in the Phelps County Jail on $50,000 bond.
