ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- St. Louis city Water Division crews are working to fix a water main break that happened early Wednesday morning at Southwest Avenue and Queen Street.
The road is closed for about 100 feet in both directions.
A 12-inch pipe burst around 2:45am.
Before crews can dig up the street to repair the line, they're working to locate three gas lines and some phone lines buried underneath the road.
The water main and the portion of Southwest Avenue east of McCausland are expected to be fixed later today.
