Boyfriend arrested in shooting death of St. Louis woman

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The investigation into the murder of a 35-year-old St. Louis woman has resulted in the arrest of the victim's boyfriend.

According to police, Yvonne Robinson was found with a gunshot wound to the head around 12:15 a.m. on May 18th in the 3600 block of Sullivan Avenue in north St. Louis.  Two people on a lower floor of the Robinson's house heard gunshots and later discovered her body.

Investigators presented their case against the victim's boyfriend, Monir Aziz to the Circuit Attorney's office on Friday and warrants were issued for 2nd Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action.  His name has not yet been released and he is being held without bond.
