Police searching for suspect in Taco Bell robbery

(KMOV)-- Police hope surveillance photos will help identify a suspect accused of robbing a Taco Bell at 6660 Manchester Sunday afternoon.

The St. Louis Police Department said the suspect walked into the restaurant, placed an order and handed a note to the cashier demanding money.

The cashier complied with the suspect's request and handed him cash from the cash register.

No weapon was indicated or displayed during the robbery. No one was injured.

The suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, 38-48 years of age, 5’8” to 5’11”, weighing 160-180 pounds. The suspect was wearing a multi-colored (red, black and blue) jacket with a light colored stripe across the chest, tan pants, dark colored shoes and glasses. The suspect also had the hood of the jacket, which appeared to be blue in color, up over his head.
