(KMOV) – A possible solution to beat paying four dollars a gallon for gas could be compressed natural gas.
A bill has been presented to Congress to give consumers who buy natural gas-equipped vehicles a tax break of up to $7,500.
Cars that are natural gas-equipped could cost $7,000 more than regular vehicles.
Natural gas costs $1.89 a gallon.
Laclede Gas Company is the only natural gas fueling station in St. Louis, but they say more fueling stations are to come in the near future.
