MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina has been ejected for arguing balls and strikes and appeared to hit plate umpire Rob Drake with spittle in the 10th inning of St. Louis' game at the Milwaukee Brewers.

Molina was unhappy with a called strike three Tuesday night and immediately began yelling at Drake. Drake immediately ejected Molina and had to wipe his face while a furious Molina continued arguing. Molina later had to restrained by Daniel Descalso to keep from getting back in the umpire's face.
