(KMOV) – The Milwaukee Brewers’ Nyjer Morgan attacked the Cardinals over twitter shortly after having the game winning hit in the series opener Monday night.

The Cardinals suffered a 6-2 loss and Morgan publicized over twitter that it seems he is confident the Brewers’ can turn the series into a sweep.

Morgan’s tweet said, “To all tha Bird Hunters out n tha Nation, get ur bird license and get ready for 3 dayz of gaming! Aaaaahhhhh!!!”

While it does not make much sense for a player on the opposing team to stir things up after a win, some may speculate that his confidence is up after hitting a bases loaded double in the Brewers’ five-run fifth inning last night.

This incident is being compared to a less serious version of the brawl that was sparked from a comment that Cincinnati Reds’ Brandon Phillips made insulting the city of St. Louis last year.

The Cardinals take on the Brewers again Tuesday night at Busch Stadium at 7:10 p.m.
