JACKSON, Mo. (AP) -- Court arraignment is delayed for Clay Waller, a southeast Missouri man facing charges unrelated to his wife's disappearance.

Clay Waller was scheduled for arraignment Monday at the Cape Girardeau County Courthouse following his arrest Friday on stealing and harassment charges. But the Southeast Missourian reports that the hearing is delayed because Waller's attorney asked for a change of judge.

A new hearing date is not set.

Jacque Waller, the 39-year-old mother of triplets, disappeared nearly two months ago. Clay Waller's attorney accused police of arresting him so they could question him about his wife.

Clay Waller is considered by police to be a person of interest in his wife's missing-person case, but has not been charged.
