(KMOV) – One man is dead and another is injured after two separate shootings happened early Monday morning in north St. Louis.
According to officials, the first shooting happened around 2:40a.m. near Margaretta. Police say 16-year-old Michael Brown was found dead in the middle of the street.
Within minutes of the first incident, another man was shot in the knee near the intersection of Cora and Sacramento. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Officers have not said if they think the two shootings are related.
No suspects have been taken into custody. An investigation is ongoing.
