JOPLIN, Mo. (AP) -- The May 22 tornado in Joplin has claimed another victim, bringing the death toll to 160.
Jasper County Coroner Rob Chappel said Thursday that J.T. Strickland, 85, died on July 8 at a Monett nursing home of injuries he suffered in the tornado.
A funeral home handling arrangements say Strickland was a motel manager and Korean War veteran.
