(FootballStL) -- It is possible that the St. Louis Rams may fire head coach Steve Spagnuolo after compiling a 10-38 coaching record in three years at the helm.
The players have kept quiet about the possibility of a coaching change throughout the season, but some opened up to the discussion after the 34-27 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
“I think he is a good leader. Outside of the wins-losses record that we have had, I think he is going to be successful if he stays here. I think he is going to be successful if he leaves. It is not a decision I make, and I believe the front office will do what is best for the organization.” - Steven Jackson
“I try not to worry about things I can’t control. We are all realistic as well. It is kind of an anxious time for everybody. I will just kind of pray about it and whatever happens, happens and you just kind of move forward and trust that we are going to be alright whether he is here or not, but I can’t control any of that. I try not to worry about it too much.” - James Laurinaitis
“It is still the back of your mind but you can’t really let it consume you because you never know. You never know what is going to happen.” - Danario Alexander
“In my mind I think (coaching staff) deserve another year, but obviously I am just a player who came here in midseason. I am not the front office, but all I can say is that whatever happens to this entire coaching staff, it has been a positive experience from my point of view. I don’t see them having any problems moving on and being successful wherever they go.” - Brandon Lloyd
