(KMOV) -- Beginning Monday morning Barnes-Jewish Hospital will start giving away free flu shots.
The foundation for the hospital plans to give away thousands of the free shots this year.
The shots will be given in the main lobby at Barnes-Jewish Hospital between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. from October 3 until October 8.
Shots will also be available at the Center For Advanced Medicine on the third floor from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the first week of October.
This year will mark the sixth year in a row that Barnes has offered free seasonal flu shots. The Center for Disease Control recommends anyone age six months or older to receive the vaccination.
