(KMOV)—A local grocery store is recalling packaged meat after glove pieces were found in the grinder.
Schnucks Market has issued a recall for all Schnucks brand ground beef and sausage sold between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the Woods Mill store on October 1. The store is located at 1060 Woods Mill Road.
Around 8 p.m. Schnucks staff found a thin piece of a plastic glove in the grinder while they were cleaning. All unsold packages of recalled meat were immediately removed from the selves and discarded.
This is an isolated incident and no other stores are involved in this recall. This is a precautionary measure and there have been no consumer reports.
Customers can return purchased recalled meat for a full refund.
