(KMOV.com) -- A Godfrey, Illinois man pleaded guilty on September 23rd to charges relating to the sale of cocaine.
The following information is from a news release from the Southern District United States Attorney:
Arthur G. Widman, II, 37, of Godfrey, Illinois, pled guilty to two counts of selling cocaine on December 7, 2010, in Alton, Illinois, and to one count of possessing cocaine on December 8, 2010, with the intent to distribute it.
Widman’s sentence hearing is scheduled for 10:00 am on January 3, 2012, in United States District Court in East St. Louis. Widman faces a sentence of up to 20 years’ imprisonment. The investigation that resulted in Widman’s conviction was conducted by the South Central Illinois Drug Task Force and by the Alton Police Department.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Robert L. Garrison.
