Road rage possible cause of morning motorcycle crash

(KMOV)-- Police investigate a motorcycle accident in West Alton that allegedly happened as a result of road rage on Saturday morning.

Officials say 30-year-old Donald Adams was heading southbound on 367 from Alton when he was allegedly involved in some type of road rage incident.

The bike he was riding on struck a metal guardrail that ruptured the fuel tank and caused a small fire.

Police believe excessive speed and road rage are possible causes of this accident.

Adams was flown to an area hospital where he is in serious condition.

No other injuries have been reported.
