Road rage leads to a deadly shooting in north St. Louis

(KMOV) – An investigation is underway for the suspect of a fatal road rage shooting.
The shooting happened Wednesday night in the 8500 block of Broadway.
According to authorities, 19-year old Christopher Walton-Jones’ vehicle was almost struck by the suspect’s truck while driving east on Wall Street and onto North Broadway.
Police say the passenger in Walton-Jones’ vehicle argued with the suspect before attempting to drive away. The suspect then fired shots at the victim’s vehicle shooting him under his armpit.
He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s passenger was not injured.
Police are looking for the suspect who they describe as a black male in his 20's. He has a slender build, dark complexion and long dreadlocks. The suspect's vehicle is described as a black Chevy, extended cab pick up truck with a dull paint job.
