(KMOV.com) -- A Chesterfield, Missouri man is facing multiple charges after police say he struck and killed someone with his vehicle and seriously injured another person.
On Wednesday, Chesterfield police arrested and chargedPatrick McCormick, 53, with 1st Degree Involuntary Manslaughter, Intoxicated-Cause Death and 2nd Degree Assault for an incident that occurred on August 26th. McCormick was also charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
Authorities said McCormick was driving while under the influence of alcohol when he struck and killed Chesterfield resident Janet Esrock. He also struck Esrock's son, causing serious injury. Toxicology results showed that McCormick's blood alcohol level was well over the legal limit.
No bond information has been released for the suspect.
