(KMOV)-- A man on parole was charged with stealing after obtaining account and password information for AT&T customers, then adding himself into their accounts.

Officials say Jamal Tyler, 30, went into the Fairview Heights location and extended another person's contract by two years and bought two new blackberries on the account. Police are not sure how Tyler obtained the victim's information.

There is investigation to see whether Tyler committed the same crime at a Collinsville store.
