(KMOV.com) -- A man is recovering after he was shot in the thigh when he allowed another man to use his cell phone.
Authorities said the shooting happened on Sunday in the 3400 block of Itaska. The 30-year-old victim was standing outside when two men approached him and asked to use his cell phone. The victim complied and the suspects started walking away with the phone. When the man asked for his phone back, one of the suspects shot him in the thigh.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where doctors indicated that he was stable and had a non-life threatening injury. Police have not made any arrests in relation to the incident. The suspects are identified only as two black males.
