ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of a National Guardsman.
Quinton Jackson, 19, from St. Louis was arrested Friday. He has been charged with First Degree Murder, Attempted Robbery and Armed Criminal Action. He is being held without bond.
Police said Jackson and his female accomplice, Jacqueline Barron, 18, attempted to rob National Guardsman Lawrence Valient outside his apartment in Ferguson, Missouri on February 13th.
Barron is currently being held on a $1 million bond for Second-Degree Murder, Armed Criminal Action, and First-Degree Attempted Robbery.
Valiant was a cook in the National Guard who was preparing for another deployment to Afghanistan.
