(KMOV)—Snow is winding down this morning in the St. Louis area, tapering off to scattered flurries.
In the St. Louis metro, snow accumulations range from a dusting to an inch.
Communities north of St. Louis are dealing with more snow. Troy, Missouri has 1 1/2" on the ground, but areas north in Lincoln and Pike counties have 4" or more. In Illinois, Carlinville in Macoupin County has 3" of snow.
News 4 crews have seen MoDOT and iDOT plows on the major interstates and roadways spreading salt.
Temperatures are expected to be near 30, Friday morning, and drivers should watch for areas of wet and untreated pavement that may freeze.
