Robbery suspects taken into custody by Collinsville police

COLLINSVILLE (KMOV) -- Three suspects connected to robbing and assaulting a man in Collinsville, Ill. have been taken into custody by police.

Twenty-two-year-olds Garyion Edmond and Rico Mosely, in addition to 21-year-old Bryan Spinnie were charged Thursday by the Madison County State Attorney’s Office with robbery and Class 2 Felonies.

Collinsville Police say the incident occurred in the 100 block Idlebrook after the three suspects assaulted a man, fracturing bones in his face, during a drug deal and robbed him.

Authorities say the victim later identified Mosley as one of his assailants inside the Collinsville Police Department.

According to officers, Mosley walked into the police station, then abruptly left after seeing the victim.

Mosley was caught on surveliance cameras as he exited the building,  and was arrested shortly after.

Spinne and Mosley are currently being held at the Madison County Jail, and bond for all three suspects was set at $250,000.
