Pearl Harbor survivor honored in St. Louis

(KMOV)--Congressman Lacy Clay awarded eight different medals to a 91-year old U.S. Navy who had been deprived of his Armed Service medals.
John T. Moton, Jr. was awarded the medals on Monday morning at Congressman Clay’s St. Louis office.
Moton is a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941. 
In addition to his six-year naval career, 1939 - 1945, Moton worked for the United States Postal Service for more than 30 years.
Congressman Clay awarded Moton with World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze star, American Defense Service Medal with Fleet Clasp, Combat Action Ribbon, American Campaign Medal, Navy Discharge Button and Honorable Service Lapel Pin (Ruptured Duck), Navy Good Conduct Medal, and the Pearl Harbor Commemorative Medal
